A word from Coach Terry Brands
July 12, 2005
Wrestle the World Training Camp is committed to building strong minds and bodies. We work tirelessly around the clock to ensure we bring the best wrestling to all our camps. The staff and clinicians employed by Wrestle the World Training Camp spend months each year in elite level environments. We have attended every World and Olympic Championship since 1993, every NCAA Championship since 1986, and State Championships in Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, Montana, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, Ohio, and Minnesota. In addition, our staff spends several weeks every year in Russia gaining knowledge that we want to give to you. So, whether we are breaking down video, coaching our Olympians, or conducting camps, we are scouting to give you knowledge to become the best. Our philosophy is simple...Never compromise integrity and outwork the world.
Youth Program
Each day starts off with a technique session led by Coach Brands or one of his clinicians for the entire camp. Here, campers of all ages warm-up and work on the technical skills presented. Each afternoon and evening, while the high school teams participate in dual meet competition, the youth have additional skill work presented by the camp staff. Each session lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes and often includes live wrestling and combative games at the conclusion of the session. When the session ends the younger wrestlers are free to watch the exciting high school competition.
Camp Out with Your Team
Wrestle the World Training Camp offers a unique experience for all campers to spend evenings outdoors, under the stars.
